I hate writing about me. Okay, that's not true. I mean, I HAVE kept this journal (mostly) faithfully since 2000, so I suppose I have to like writing about me. What I hate is having to try to sum myself up. I mean, really. How in the world do you sum up decades of living? Especially living that seems as weird and hectic as a lot of mine has been.

As you can probably tell, I have little respect for or connection to what most people seem to consider "reality."

Rather than crippling me, as many have predicted, it has led me to a life more filled with wonder and fun and joy than I could have hoped for if I'd "kept my feet on the ground."

That being said... This is a Friends Only journal. I've been burned in the past, so I am very careful of who I'm letting in to my life.

I am, at various times, perky, morose, angry, silly, creative, obsessive, hopeful, sad, homesick, tired, thoughtful, insane, insightful, manic, flirty, bouncy, or any other number of emotions... and I fling all of them onto the screen. So if you're afraid of a lot of emotion, this isn't the place for you.

And, at all times, there lurks my paranormal streak. Most times it sits quietly in the background of my journal. However, there are times when I am swirled into various experiences that I share. Mental and physical links to loved ones, prophetic dreams, writings that illuminate things I "couldn't (shouldn't) have known" about people, memories of past lives, and a vast, overall purpose to my life. If you're uncomfortable with that, this isn't the place for you.
